Twelve Computers have been stolen from the Panatina Campus Computer Lab last Thursday.

President of the Solomon Islands National University Student Association, Wilson Mae confirmed the theft to SIBC News, saying the robbery happened on Thursday night last week.

Mr Mae says students are now finding it difficult to access information from the Internet, and some also rely on the school computers to do their schoolwork.

The SINU Student Association President also said the matter has already been reported to the Police.

Meanwhile, students of the Solomon Islands National University Panatina Campus are hoping to resume normal classes this week, following the departure of evacuees from the Campus Pavilion.

SINU Student Association President, Wilson Mae, told SIBC News the evacuees left the Campus last Friday.

“Currently all have left and normal classes should now resume, but for the past few days a major cleanup was conducted by students at the campus premises and so at the moment we are following a tentative timetable, that is students are still attending the Kukum and Marine school campuses.”
