CONSTRUCTION WORK RESUMED AT J.F. KENNEDY GIZO SOCCER PITCH
Construction work has resumed at the J.F Kennedy Soccer Stadium in Gizo, Western Province.
President of the Western Football Association, Adrian Sina reports work on the stadium began again last month after financial issues forced construction work to stop in 2012.
Mr Sina says the old fence at the Stadium has already been demolished and workers are now constructing a new fence around the area before renovations to the main stadium building and inner pitch can begin.
SIBC Sports News understands the groundbreaking ceremony of the J.F Kennedy Soccer Stadium Project was held in 2009.
