M.I.D LAUNCHED “CIVIL ENGINEERING CERTIFICATE FOUR” TRAINING

The Ministry of Infrastructure Development has launched a “Civil Engineering Certificate Four” training in Honiara today.

The workshop is funded by the ADB, Australian, New Zealand and the Solomon Islands Government under the Transport sector development project.

It engages civil supervisors from the private sector and staff from the Ministry of Infrastructure Development.

In an interview with SIBC News, Permanent Secretary for Infrastructure Development Moses Virivolomo said, the workshop aims to train civil supervisors to deliver the best quality infrastructure in Solomon Islands.

“The basic aim of the course is to get our supervisors work together with MID to deliver good quality infrastructure for Solomon Islands.”

A total of 30 participants will be attending the training.
