CPLT handover solar lights to Police Traffic Department

The China Police Liaison Team (CPLT) handed over sets of solar lights to the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) Traffic Department on 17 October 2023 at the Kukum traffic office in Honiara.

The handing over of the solar lights, briefcases, stationery and sporting T-Shirts will equip and support traffic officers as part of the preparation for the Pacific Games.

CPLT Team Leader Commissioner Zhao Jinyong said he was deeply honoured to experience the cooperation of CPLT and RSIPF extended to a new level.

Commissioner Zhao said the friendship between China and SI is long-lasting. 

He said this is not the end but the beginning.

The CPLT will continue their cooperation with the RSIPF, and render efforts to support NTD in its preparation for the PG23.

 Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner for National Capital and Crime Prevention Simpson Pogeava acknowledged the support rendered towards the Traffic Department.

 He said the items will help boost the morale of traffic officers, which he said is the kind of police support needed.
