The High Court has adjourned its judgement to Monday next week for the drowning and murder of a young man in Tamone settlement, Sun Valley in September 2010.

The verdict was set for yesterday afternoon, but it was adjourned because the presiding judge is yet to complete it.

The accused was charged and tried with one count of murder.

It was alleged he was part of a group who chased after the deceased because he disturbed a fundraising program at the Tamone settlement.

The Police were called, but the deceased ran away.

It was alleged the accused allegedly jumped the deceased and struck him while he was on the ground.

Then with the help of another man, threw the body into the river.

The body was found the next day.
