The Electoral Commission has a reform program for the 2018 National Elections.

“We have a reform program and we will be looking at pre polling and also the Commission will be looking at the annual registration of voters. We also have plans to look at a new electoral system that could suit our purpose.”

Meanwhile, the Chief Electoral Officer said the 2014 National General Elections was successfully conducted fairly freely.

“The results so far, the work that the officials went out to carry out in the field was very good with the support from the police and am pleased that we were able to conduct a free and fair election on 19th November’s election day.”
