ENVIRONMENT MINISTRY AND H.C.C HOSTED 4th J.P.R.I.S.M MEETING

The Ministry of Environment, Climate Change, Disaster Management and Meteorology and the Honiara City Council are today hosting the fourth Joint Coordinating Committee Meeting of solid waste management project in Honiara.

Called the Japanese Cooperation Project for Promotion of Regional Initiative on Solid Waste Management (JPRISM), the project meeting is to update stakeholders on the progress of last year’s implementation and approve this year’s phase.

The Ministry of Environment says today’s program present an opportunity for partners to discuss their solid waste management requirement.

It says this will be the final year of the project’s implementation.
