FIVE BUSINESSES TO COURT FOR FAILING NPF RECORDS

Five business companies are facing criminal charges after failing to produce records of their employee’s monthly contributions to the Solomon Islands National Provident Fund.

The National Provident Fund lodged the criminal complaints.

The five companies are Happy Hour Fast Food Bar; Island Brothers Security Service; Safeguard Security; ACF General Construction and the Solomon G-E Company.

They are charged for failing to produce records of contributions for their employees under the NPF Act.

The case first appeared for mention before the Magistrates Court last month, and was adjoined for two weeks.

The case will appear again before the Courts on the fourteenth of this month.
