Five communities on Malaita, Solomon Islands, have completed their Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) and response plans.

The USAID Coastal Community Adaptation Project’s (C-CAP) monthly update reports the communities have submitted their preliminary reports to the National Disaster Management Office (NDMO) in Honiara.

USAID/C-CAP office in the Solomon Islands is working closely with its government partner NDMO in making sure communities are resilient to climate change impacts and natural disasters.
