FOREIGN AFFAIRS MINISTER TO C.M.A.G MEETING IN LONDON NEXT WEEK

Solomon Islands Minister for Foreign Affairs and External Trade, Milner Tozaka will join the Commonwealth Ministerial Action Group (CMAG) meeting at the Commonwealth Secretariat in London next week.

CMAG comprises of foreign ministers from nine member countries, who will meet at the Commonwealth Secretariat in London, Thursday next week.

Mr Tozaka will join other CMAG members to consider the state of adherence to the values within the Commonwealth as mandated by the Commonwealth Heads of Government in 2011.

Current members of CMAG are Solomon Islands Foreign Minister Milner Tozaka; Ioannis Kasoulides Foreign Minister of Cyprus; Carolyn Rodrigues-Birkett, Foreign Minister of Guyana and Sushma Swaraj, India’s Minister of External Affairs.

Hon. Bernard Membe, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation United Republic of Tanzania and others includes Hon. Murray McCully, Minister of Foreign Affairs of New Zealand, Hon. Sartaj Aziz, Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan on National Security and Foreign Affairs.

Hon. Dr Samura Kamara, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Sierra Leone and Hon. Mangala Samaraweera, Minister of External Affairs of Sri Lanka are also members of the CMAG, who will attend the meeting in London.
