People of North East Guadalcanal are gravely concerned, logging activities in their area have caused unparalleled distraction on their land and crops.

Food security is now a major issue.

A James Viriala from North East Guadalcanal reports.

“There’s a logging operation here and the recent wet weather has caused soil erosion and local farmers here are concerned for their gardens as such logging activities will destroy their gardens.”
