High school rugby set for next month

This year’s annual Credit Corp High School Easter Rugby 7s will kick off on 20 April at the Town Ground Rugby stadium in Honiara.

Rugby Development Officer of the Solomon Islands Rugby Union Federation, SIRUF, Augustine Mafuara confirms in an email to SIBC News.

He said this year’s tournament would be played in two categories namely, Under-17 and Under-19.

Mr. Mafuara said the registration fee was $300 per team both juniors and seniors and registrations closes on 12 April at 4.30 pm.

He said a very important meeting would be held this Wednesday for all sports teachers who wish to register their schools for the tournament.
