KURUKURU TO FIJI FOR OFC CHAMPIONSHIP CHALLENGE

In sports, the Solomon Islands National Futsal Squad, Kurukuru will fly over to Fiji this week ahead of the OFC Championship and the FIFA Futsal World Cup Qualifier next week.

The team has been fixing friendly matches- an effort to shape up ahead of the Oceania battle.

Kurukuru has beaten the Australian Mountain Majik Futsal club 14-5 in a friendly match yesterday.

According to a sports official website ‘go solo go’, Kurukuru were up 8-3 at halftime and scored another 6 to make it 14-5 in the Full time.

The local boys have also thrashed the Dural Warriors 12-0 in an earlier friendly.
