LAVUKAL MPA SAYS HIS WIN IS MILESTONE FOR HIS PEOPLE

The Provincial Assembly Member (MPA) for Lavukal Ward in Russell Islands, Central Islands Province has said his win in the provincial election is a milestone for his people.

Provincial Member Humphrey Salopuka told the people of Lavukal during a New Year celebration program last night that his win is a milestone for them.

“In his statement last night Mr. Salopuka said his victory of winning the recent provincial election at Lavukal Ward is a milestone to his people. He said the responsibilities delegated to him by his people are not an easy task. Mr. Salopuka said while he significantly appreciates the achievements by his former colleague provincial members during their term, he also called on his people to collaborate and to unite together as Lavukal people.”

Mr. Suku reports, the Provincial Member as saying he will move in the assembly meeting this year an additional two political sub-divisions of the Lavukal ward namely West and East Lavukal.
