United States Ambassador Catherine Ebert-Gray has presented her credentials to the Governor-General, His Excellency Sir Frank Ofagioro Kabui, at the Government House yesterday.

The U.S. Embassy in Port Moresby says with her credential presentation, Ambassador Ebert-Gray became the 14th United States Ambassador to Solomon Islands.

Sir Kabui welcomes Ambassador Ebert-Gray and expresses sincere assurances of the country’s continued bilateral partnership.

Ambassador Ebert-Gray was confirmed by the United States Senate on 9th December 2015 before being sworn-in as the U.S. Ambassador to Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu and the Solomon Islands on 22 January 2016.
