The US 2015 Pacific Partnership Program is conducting extensive work in Solomon Islands.

Captain James Meyer, the Capacity Mission Commander says a vast cross section of community work in medical, dentistry, veterinary and engineering has been done within a short time span of two weeks.

“So far we have completed 100 medical, dental, veterinarian, band and engineering humanitarian aid disaster relief engagements so far, so at the end of the exercise here by the end of the week, we’ll have completed over a 140 different engagements and that includes everything from providing dental care to construction, renovation at various schools so four host of different things that we have accomplished.”

Captain Meyer encourages people to visit the joint high speed vessel when it opens for public visitors from 10am this Saturday.
