Parents and teaching students in North Malaita have questioned the Honiara City Council Education Authority, why it has failed to release certificates to students who have completed their Early Childhood Education training over the last few years.
Stringer John Andrew Kiri reports, a number of students from the region have completed Early Childhood Education training at the Honiara City Council Early Childhood Education Centre in the recent years.
The delay has adverse financial effects on the students as they depend on the certificates to secure teaching job.
Mr Kiri reports
“The ECE teachers who were trained under the Honiara City Council have questioned the Council on why it has been so reluctant to certify some of its teachers who have been serving in its schools for quite a while.”
