PM visits Australian Police Training Facility

Prime Minister Hon Manasseh Sogavare  during his visit to the Australian capital, Canberra visited the Australian Federal Police Training Facility at Majura in Canberra.

This same facility had been the training ground for RSIPF  officers, including those who
had been assigned to international peace keeping operations under the United Nations.

He was shown around the training facilities by the top brass of the AFP including Former PPF
Commander John Tanti.

Prime Minister Hon. Manasseh Sogavare, MP was also shown around the various forensic
laboratories including the AFP Finger Print Database Centre, AFP’s ballistics analysis centre.

A display of the various kinds of tactical weapons and gears included displays by the canine

bomb unit of the Australian Federal Police was also accorded to the Prime Minister.
