Bubutoga Community in Central Guadalcanal has called on the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force to be more active when attending community situations.

The community made the call after police have failed to attend an election conflict in the area because they could not find the community.

Community Representative, Betty Lina said, police should be trained on the geographical sites of the provinces they are posted to.

Mrs Lina also called on the police to prepare themselves on sites within the provinces, as people are still expecting election related conflicts.

“I see that police officers need to train on geographical sites of the provinces and when you are recruited as an officer from that particular province, you need to know where all theses geographical sites are.”
