A number of unsuccessful candidates of the 2016 Police recruit this year alleges the final selection list is biased and nepotism-based.

SIBC’s North Malaita Stringer John Kiri reports, complaints have emerged on how the final selection was done at Malu’u, North Malaita.

He says two unsuccessful candidates he spoke to claimed they were the victims of nepotism and biased.

But the Deputy Police Commissioner Juanita Matanga has urged the public to direct their concerns about how police administer’s it recruitment process directly to the police.

Commissioner Matanga says the force is trying very much to exercise transparency during recruitments.
