PRIME MINISTER & DELEGATION ARRIVED FROM UN GENERAL ASSEMBLY
Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare and his delegation arrived home safely yesterday afternoon after attending the 70th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting.
A government statement confirms, the Prime Minister was met upon arrival at the tarmac by the Deputy Prime Minister Douglas Ete, Commissioner of Police Frank Prendergast and the Secretary to Prime Minister Joseph Waleanisia.
At the VIP Lounge, Mr Sogavare was welcomed by Cabinet Ministers and Backbenchers, Heads of the Diplomatic Missions and senior government officials.
The Solomon Islands delegation left for New York on 22nd September.
