The Royal Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) have met with Mono community Leaders recently to discuss possible dialogue and allow police officers to provide security in the area.

Mono communities recently disallowed police officers to their communities after they allegedly threatened communities with firearms.

But Speaking to SIBC News, a Ronnie Kidoe said Mono community leaders have met with the RSIPF to settle misunderstandings, allowing proper dialogue between them.

Mr Kidoe said a dialogue has been approved to ensure law and order in Mono.

The RSIPF last week deployed a number of officers to Mono to hold peaceful consultations with the people.
