Inclusive Disability School founder, Linda Agoka has praised the country’s justice system for sentencing a man in his 50’s last week for raping a disabled girl.

Ms Agoka told SIBC News today the sentencing judgment is reasonable as disabled victims are often vulnerable to assaults.

“I am happy because our disabled girls or people are in threat of such cases as rape, attempted rape, harassment. Most cases have not been reported.”

Miss Agoka calls on all parents in the country to freely report cases of such nature to the police.

“And I am also calling on parents everywhere in the country to report such cases to the police if they happen to our girls or people with special needs and not to keep quite over them.”
