SINTA SLAMS SCHOOL BURNING.
The Solomon Islands Teachers Association (SINTA) has condemned the burning of Mbokonavera School Office building dis week.
The Mbokonavera school administration was shocked to see their office burnt down Tuesday Morning.
General Secretary of SINTA Mr. Robert Lafisi said innocent school children are the victims as all classes this week are closed.
“It has become a trend that these places are targetted and burned down and this doesn’t relfect how well we respect education in the country. What is so sadful to see is that students of the school will lose their education for this week and as parents and a responsible body, we are not happy with such actions.”
Meanwhile, the Royal Solomon Islands Police Force RSIPF is currently investigating the incident.
Mr. Lafisi calls on all parents, guardians and the school administration to quickly rebuild from the ashes.
