And in Sports, the Solomon Islands National Men’s Team went down by a goal to nil in their Group B encounter with neighbouring Fiji at the 2016 OFC Nations Cup in Port Moresby’s Sir John Guise Stadium last night.

Fiji’s winning and the only goal came from Captain Roy Krishna from his conversion of a penalty.

The penalty award was a pay for a foul on Roy Krishna by Solomon Island’s goalkeeper Samson Koti within 85 minutes into the game.

Meanwhile, Solomons coach Moses Toata has expressed disappointment over the defeat, but he said it was a lesson for the boys.

He said they will be looking to work on their errors as they are eyeing New Zealand.

Following two rounds in Group B, New Zealand is in the driving seat with maximum six points while both Fiji and the Solomons are on three points with everything still to play for.

The Solomons will face New Zealand while Fiji will take on Vanuatu to decide the top two spots in Group B this Saturday.
