Solomon Islands still maintain its eight position in the Pacific Games medal tally with nine medals as of yesterday.

Still leading the medal tally table  is host country Papua New Guinea with 71 medals followed by New Caledonia with 66 medals, and Tahiti with 40 medals.

Rolland Koofuli reports from Port Moresby yesterday.

“The host country Papua New Guinea is still at the top of the medal tally table with a total of 71 medals, followed by New Caledonia with a total of 66 medals and Tahiti on the third position with 40 medals. Samoa is on the fourth place with a total of 36 medals, Fiji on the fifth place with a total of 56 medals. Australia is on the sixth place with a total of 33 medals; Nauru on the seventh with a total of 18 medals. Solomon Islands is still on the eight position with a total of nine medals.”

SIBC Sports understands today is day 11 of the Pacific Games competitions.
