IMPRESSIVE START FOR U-12 FUTSAL BOYS IN AUSSIE

The Solomon Islands National U12 Futsal boys have made an impressive start at the FFA Futsal Championship in Australia.

Solomon Islands has sent two Junior Futsal teams, the U12 and U14, both of which have secured three points each in their respective opening matches.

Defending champions the U12 Junior Futsal team trampled on New South Wales 17-1 in the National Futsal Championship opener yesterday.

In other matches yesterday, the local U14 boys also won their opening match, defeating Victoria 3-2 at the full-time whistle.

The tournament continues until this weekend where the finalists will battle for the top spot.
