A four days media workshop organised by the Development Services Exchange (DSE) for community-based organisations has ended today.

DSE Capacity Building Officer, Lilly Chekana told SIBC News in an interview the training helps to enhance the participants’ perspective on the vital role of the media in development.

She says it also helps the participants to promote the work of the Community-based organisations through the media.

“The idea behind this training is to promote the role of community-based organisations through media and I think the overall part of it is for them to understand how media plays a vital role in development or media as a tool of development.”
