Chairman of the Solomon Islands Football Federation Normalization Committee Mr Barnabas Anga says he is very optimistic given the progress and understanding the committee has with OFC, FIFA, its stakeholders and partners

Speaking to SIBC sports, Mr Anga says the honours now rests with the new executive committee to build on the processes and contacts that his committee has established.

He says he is happy with what his committee has achieved so far saying it’s a bonus and a new way of thinking.

“Hopefully from normalisation we need new horizons, new heights into developing and growing the game, so am very optimistic that what the normalisation committee has done so far is a bonus and a new way of thinking so that we can put our federation into the right perspective and the directions that it should contribute towards not only football but also molding of characters by providing certain avenues and schemes and even more competitive games.”

Meanwhile, SIBC sports understand election of new SIFF executives will be held around March next year.
