NEW CHURCH BUILDING FOR VERAVA, WEST HONIARA OPENED

Verava Anglican Community in Tasahe, West Honiara celebrates the blessing of its newly built Saint Michael and All Angel church today.

The new church was blessed by the outgoing Arch Bishop of the Anglican Church, David Vunagi.

In his sermon today, Mr. Vunagi reminds Christians about Saint Michael and all Angels – giving thanks for the many ways in which God’s loving care watches over mankind and His creation.

An Ezekiel Ray told SIBC News, the program include religious activities.

Mr. Ray adds, about 5,000 Christians around Guadalcanal province attended the celebration.
