PRIME MINISTER SOGAVARE ANNOUNCED ANOTHER RESHUFFLE

Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare has today announced another reshuffle of his Cabinet Ministers.

He made the announcement in a media statement today.

This will see, Hon. Bodo Dettke as the new Minister for Culture and Tourism while Hon. Bartholomew Parapolo will be the new Minister for Forestry and Research.

Others include the Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Hon. Augustine Auga, re-shuffled with the Minister for Provincial Government Hon. Dudley Kopu.

The Minister for Rural Development Hon. Freda Tuki will also be reshuffled with the Minister for Women, Youth, Children and Family Affairs, Hon. Jimson Tanangada.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Sogavare said the new portfolio allocations are to support the delivery of DCCG policies, encouraging Caucus solidarity and promoting national unity.

He says change can only be achieved if we work together at all levels of our society and must begin with leaders.

The Prime Minister adds the decision represents the confidence he has in each of the Ministers to carry out their mandated responsibilities without fear or favour as they all have the DCCG’s full support.
