Water shortage at the Kilu’ufi medical compound in Malaita Province has caused problems for medical staff working at the hospital.

SIBC Stringer Gabriel Riotarau reports, it has been three weeks and the medical staff are threatening to stop working.

Mr Roitarau says a senior medical staff and Chair of the medical compound committee, Leon Maneho’ua called on the responsible authorities to quickly address their situation.

“A senior medical officer at Kilu’ufi hospital and also Chair of the Kilu’ufi medical compound committee Leon Maneho’ua has called on responsible authorities to quickly address the water issue here at Kilu’ufi.
