The Home and Family Impact Ministry, a newly born Non-Government Organisation, NGO, has strongly condemned the recent alleged killing of a woman on West Guadalcanal.

Earlier police reports, the woman from Kakabona died of serious head injuries after her husband allegedly bashed her up using a solar battery.

Director of Home and Family Impact Ministry Pastor Jack Maega told SIBC News his organisation joins others to condemn the killing incident.

“My organisation would like to be another voice to condemn such an action. It is uncalled for and is very unnecessary.”

Pastor Maega calls on all fathers to treat their wife with divine love as emphasised in the Bible.

“I would like to call upon husbands and fathers to love your wife and the mother of your children. I think this is the fundamental and the basis on which the Bible tells us as well as common sense has stated that we should operate in love, and when we do so we’ll find that there will be no domestic violence.”
