The alleged weapon used in the killing of a man from Temotu province at White-river May this year is still missing.

The Magistrate Court yesterday heard police are still conducting the investigation and are yet to obtain the weapon allegedly used in the killing.

Joel Abia is charged with the murder and has been remanded in custody.

Magistrate Augustine Aulanga advised the lawyers who appeared for the case today, to ensure the prosecution provide disclosures of the crime scene photographs and autopsy to the defence.

He also ordered that prosecution to provide disclosures of witness statements.

All these are to be done before the case reappears before the Court on June 29th.
