The Anti-Corruption Bill 2017.

Parliament has passed the Anti-Corruption Bill 2017 today.

Deliberations into the bill began with clause 31 as of this morning.

Moving the Bill in its Third Reading was Prime Minister Rick Houenipwela.

Meanwhile, the 10th Parliament has been adjourned twice since the meeting started last week.

It was adjourned two times because there was no quorum.

The Strata Tittles Bill 2017 and the Legal Professions Bill 2017 went through their second reading yesterday, but debate into the bills was adjourned under Standing Orders.

Deputy Speaker of Parliament David Dei Pacha made the adjournment after the Leader of the Independent Group Dr Derek Sikua raised a question about the lack of quorum.
