Investigative information obtained by SIBC News indicates a number of locations where the Asians involved are practicing these illegal activities in Honiara, one of which is operating under the disguise of a massaging centre.

It alleges, groups of Asian females would enter the country under work permits to join the prostitution ring, residing at identified spots in town. They would leave the country after several months when a new group arrives.

The information obtained also reveals the numbers, types and colour of the vehicles used by those involved in the illicit sex trade. Building names and room numbers have also been revealed.

It alleged , those involved usually consume highly illicit drugs such as methylenedioxy-methamphetamine, MDMA, ecstasy and partying.

A core function of the country’s Immigration Division is to monitor people who are being granted permits and visas and to deport any foreign national found to be breaching the immigration laws.
