Chief Justice Sir Albert Palmer has acknowledged the Government for approving the new terms and conditions for Magistrates with necessary constitutional and legislative changes.

Chief Justice Palmer made the statement yesterday during the swearing-in ceremony of five new Magistrates at the High court.

He said he appreciates the Government’s new terms and conditions.

“I again reiterate my sincere thanks to the Solomon Islands Government’s support for approving the new terms and conditions for Magistrates with the necessary constitutional and legislative changes which have enabled us to recruit suitable persons to those responsible and demanding positions.”
