CHURCH CALLED ON POLICE TO DEAL WITH DYNAMITE FISHING IN TULAGI

A church leader from Central Islands Province has called on Tulagi Police to address dynamite fishing in the Province.

Lillian Keru of Tulagi, today reports, the church leader who requested anonymity made the call as dynamite fishing is poisonous and destroys marine life.

Meanwhile, he calls on all communities in the province to support the police in their efforts to address the issue.

The church leader says the call is important to effectively stop the illegal fishing method.
