Issues discussed in the current Melanesian Spearhead Group Summit in Honiara are a continuation of resolutions from the Noumea Summit.

This is according the MSG Summit Foreign Affairs Minister’s chair, Milner Tozaka.

Speaking to journalists in a media conference after the Ministers’ Summit, Mr Tozaka said most of the reports under the MSG Prosperity 2038 are still under discussion in this summit.

“So most of the reports under MSG Prosperity 2038 in respect of trade, shipping and the resolution, this is a new concept which we have not yet developed but still continue to discuss.”

He adds, as the new MSG FMM Chair, he feels very optimistic with the issues and progress under discussion.

“As a new Chairman I feel very optimistic of the decisions we have made and of the organisation as well.”
