Police Operations to secure the 20th MSG Leaders Summit in Honiara is progressing well says Police Commissioner Frank Prendergast.
He says Police have recorded a low crime rate since the operation and urge the public to keep on supporting the police.
The Police Commissioner made the comment in his weekly media conference this morning.
“On the operation to secure the MSG Leaders Summit, I can say that it is progressing well, we’ve been very happy and pleased with the level of support and cooperation we’ve received from the community. It’s good to see that the crime rate in Honiara during the Leaders’ Summit is very low and we ask everyone to help keep it so and continue supporting the police in the way they’ve done.”
