DCCG TAKEN ONBOARD PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP APPROACH

The public-private partnership is an approach the Democratic Coalition for Change Government is keen to promote to ensure community development and institution building in the country.
Acting Prime Minister Douglas Ete made the statement to officially open the 8th Premier’s conference yesterday.
Mr Ete reminds Premiers that community participation in local economic development can fertilise community and institutional growth.
“Community participation in local economic development requires an additional sector that is by and large through globalisation the public-private partnership approach has been the approach the DCC Government has taken.”
The Acting Prime Minister adds, the rise of market economy opens new investment opportunities.
