The Border Task Force Committee has again called on the Government to settle its member’s entitlements, saying current delay tactics will not deter the taskforce from pursuing their payment.

Committee Chair, Oliver Twist Osi told SIBC News, the Committee had met with Government representatives a few weeks ago and both parties agreed that the Government will produce a Memorandum of Agreement to resolve the 15 year old issue.

Mr Osi further says, the Government has yet to produce an Agreement since that meeting.

Meanwhile, another member of the Border Task Force Committee Owen Ramo says, the Government must do justice to police officers who served at the common border between Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea during the Bougainville crisis.

Mr Ramo also called on the care taker Government to resolve this outstanding issue.
