Exam results released

The first batch of exam results have been officially released, beginning with Forms three and five today.

Caretaker Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance and Treasury, Manasseh Sogavare signed the official release.

Minister Sogavare thanked the Ministry of Education and Human Resources Development for its hard work in preparing the much awaited results.

Acting Permanent Secretary of Education, James Bosamata confirmed the results to SIBC News after this afternoon’s signing.

“The results declared today by the Deputy Prime Minister are for Form three and Form five,”he said.

“Those are the two results we’re able to have them ready by today and other results maybe later?  Form six results and grade six results on target should be next week”.

Mr Bosamata also thanked the general public for their understanding and patience over the past few weeks.

“I would like to say thank you to the public for their understanding over the last few weeks. At the Education Ministry this time of the year exams and scholarships are two main tasks we are doing and it’s not that straight forward, It’s not that quick-fix,” he said.

“It needs time and commitment for my staff so here we are the DPM has just declared the Form three and Form five today and also this morning scholarship lists in terms of the other categories have also been published in the media so so far we are happy, we thank the public for their cooperation and understanding”.
