FORMER POLITICIAN WANTS REGISTRATION ISSUES SOLVED
Former politician Alfred Sasako is calling on responsible authorities to address concerns surrounding the Out- of – Constituency Registration Centre.
Mr Sasako told SIBC News, responsible authorities lack visible approaches to address people registering in different constituencies.
He says such practice does not symbolize absolute democracy in Solomon Islands.
The former East Kwaio MP adds, both the Electoral Commission and the police should move in quickly to end such corrupt practices.
Mr Sasako also questions the denial of our overseas based students from registering- our future leaders.
He says, there is still time for responsible authorities to address this concern and ensure students participate in this year’s general election.
