HCC JOIN HANDS WITH FSII TO ADDRESS YOUTH PROBLEMS

The Honiara City Council has joined hands with social networking group the Forum Solomon Islands International, FSII, to address youth problems in Honiara.
This came after a meeting was held between HCC Heads of Divisions and FSII in Honiara yesterday.
A media statement from FSII quoted Lord Mayor Andrew Mua as saying he rendered his government’s support to collaborate with FSII in the efforts to curb youth problems in the city.
Mr Mua says while he supports everybody’s willingness to help youths in the country, finance has been a stumbling block when it comes to achieving results.
The Lord Mayor calls on the Government, Civil Society groups, Women groups and others to come forward and be part of this great initiative.
