Honiara Provincial Police Commander, Chief Superintendent Jack Balaga has strongly expressed his disappointment and condemned the coward attack on one of his senior officers while on duty – protecting the community.

Superintendent Balaga appeals to the public to respect and support their police force as lawlessness increase in our growing city and communities.

He says Police will not tolerate such incidents and call on community leaders, youth and churches to continue doing the right thing to advocate law and order in our communities.

The Chief Superintendent adds police continue its high visibility patrols to reduce criminal activities around the country.
