I.O.C FORUM STARTS IN SUVA, FIJI

The International Olympic Committee’s regional forum starts in Suva, Fiji.

The forum is held prior to the 32nd ONOC general assembly scheduled for this Thursday.

The meeting was attended by 17 national Olympic committees (NOC) of which Solomon islands is an affiliated member.

Also in attendance are seven associate members of Oceania National Olympic Committee (ONOC).

Solomon Islands delegation to the forum includes Ronald Bei Talasasa, NOCSI Vice President international and Martin Rara, NOCSI President.

Running concurrently with the NOC’s forum are other sports related meetings and workshops.

It is understood the head of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach will arrive this Thursday for the General Assembly proper.
