KOA HILL WOMEN’S GROUP SUPPORTED BY COUNCILLOR

Koa Hill Women’s group Centre has received assistance from the Honiara City Councillor for Vavaya ward  John Aruhane this week.

The assistance was purposely to support the women’s savings clubs.

Councillor Aruhane says the assistance is part of his plans to support the communities in his ward.

Speaking on behalf of the Koa Hill Women’s Savings Club, Ruth Musia said this is the first time the group has received assistance from their leaders.

Mrs Musia also said it is very encouraging to see their Councillor taking the lead to assist them.

She said the cash assistance will help the women in their community with their activities and also to help sustain their families.
