KODILI FESTIVAL GOERS CAUTIONED OF FOOD POISONING
Health authorities in Buala, Isabel province are advising people at the Kodili Trade and Cultural Festival to be cautious about the food they eat at the festival.
Nurse aid Ethel Bogese told SIBC News today, seven people are currently admitted at the Buala hospital with stomach complaints diagnosed as ‘food poisoning’.
Meanwhile, the hospital’s Principal Health Promotion Officer, Jason Coxy told SIBC’s Charlie Salini in Buala all admitted cases are adults.
He said while they are closely monitoring the situation, people should closely watch what they eat.
He warns food sellers at the festival to observe health and hygienic practices when preparing food.
