MALE IN 20’s ARRESTED IN RELATION TO WHITE RIVER MURDER

A male person in his 20’s has been arrested in relation to the alleged murder incident at White River over the weekend.
The Police Media Unit confirms, White River Police Investigations and the Serious Crime Unit of the National Criminal Investigation Department made the arrest.
It says with significant assistance from the immediate family and relatives, the suspect was handed over to police and expected to be charged.
Family and relatives of the suspect are consulting the family and relatives of the deceased to peacefully resolve the tense situation between both parties.
Meanwhile, the Renbel provincial government is working closely with the family and relatives of the deceased to resolve the matter.
Police say members of the public who may have seen or heard anything related to the incident are urged to inform the White River Police post or the Police Communication Centre on phone 23666.
